    This week you will be studying Chapter 12 on Social Psychology: What influences you and your behavior?  Does your behavior depend on the situation or who you are with?  Does a group have more influence on your decisions than if you were making the decision by yourself? It is fascinating learning how others play a role in how we respond or not respond. How does peer pressure work, and how is our behavior affected by a group? Look at conformity and the types of social influence. You will study types of prejudice and discrimination. Another section looks at prosocial behavior and includes Sternberg's Triangular Theory of Love.  Also, look at this chapter as a Christian and think through what influences you as a Christian? How can you apply what you learned to your own life?

    Assignment: Psychological Disorder- Research Paper OR Interview (100 points) You will be given the option of writing a short 2 page research paper on a psychological disorder of your choosing OR you can interview a person with a psychological disorder. More details are given in Unit 6 to give you a head start on this assignment but it is not due until Unit 7 where it will be uploaded for grading.
