Advanced interpretation of Scripture and investigation of biblical hermeneutics in light of interpretational challenges. Topics include language, genre, authorial intent, the relationship between the Testaments, the New Testament’s use of the Old Testament, and the exploration of several theological systems. A seminar format that includes student research and presentations will be followed.
