By taking the Five Factors Test I discovered that I scored high in the extraversion category, with a 90%. This means that I enjoy being around people and typically experience positive emotions (Five Factor Test). I learned that many extraverts gain their energy by being around others and tend to lose that energy once they are alone. I agree with this statement and think that this part of the test was accurate for me. People who score high in the conscientiousness category tend to stick with a plan and thoroughly think before they act. The test confirms that these people are usually perfectionist or workaholics. I scored 72% which was somewhat surprising to me, I think that I tend to go with the flow and act on impulse. My lowest category was neuroticism. I strongly agree with this result because I find myself typically looking on the bright side of things; I try to stay calm under pressure situations. Low scores of neuroticism is a component of the Extraversion domain, which accurately reflects my test scores (Five Factors Test).

I feel as if the first two levels of Maslow's pyramid are given to you, but humans have more certain needs that must be met in a specific order (Spielman p. 385). Most people have their basic needs and have some sense of safety for their belongings. Love and belonging is the next level on the hierarchy and I think most people experience this in some way or another. Everyone has a sense of family and belonging, whether that be someone’s biological family or a group of friends that they trust. It’s easy to establish a sense of connection with almost anyone in today’s world due to the internet and social media. However, social media could also hold someone back from reaching their self-esteem level or self-actualization level. People are constantly playing a comparison game with people on the internet and with those around them, which limits them to reaching those levels. If one doesn’t learn to love themselves without comparison to others, then I believe that they can not reach their full potential.

Your analysis of your Five Factors Test outcomes offers valuable insights into your personality characteristics. It's intriguing to note your strong extraversion score, signifying your delight in social interactions and positive emotional experiences. The connection between extraversion and drawing energy from social interactions seems to harmonize with your self-assessment. Your conscientiousness score, albeit somewhat unexpected, underscores the intricate nature of personality, as you appear to navigate between spontaneity and thoughtfulness in adhering to plans. The basic needs and safety levels are often more readily achieved in many societies. Love and belongingness can indeed be facilitated by the interconnected world we live in, but the comparison culture perpetuated by social media can hinder individuals from reaching self-esteem and self-actualization. Learning to love oneself without constant comparison is a crucial aspect of personal growth and realizing one's full potential, which resonates with Maslow's ideas on self-actualization. Your perspective reflects the complexities and challenges individuals face in today's interconnected world.

Hello Addy I enjoyed reading you talking about your results and also knowing you in person helps me understand your results even more. Your enjoyment of positivity and the presence of people is really relatable though I only scored in the 50s for extroversion while you got 90%. I wish I was able to work diligently on schoolwork and other things. Your positivity with neuroticism is also relatable so that's cool. For your pyramid, I wonder how many people actually feel a sense of belonging I feel like it is 60% but I totally understand why you think everyone feels it.
