My scores did not surprise me. They were around what I expected them to be. The main one that sticks out to me was the extraversion since for me it depends on the time of year. Usually early on in the year when I take these types of tests my extraversion is up a good amount where I would be considered an extrovert. But towards the end of the year if i were to take those same tests again my scores would show me to be considered an introvert. It's essential to recognize that while the hierarchy serves as a broad framework and does not encompass individual distinctions or cultural diversities, individuals may concurrently address various needs. They can also shift up and down the hierarchy in reaction to life changes or varying situations. The extent to which most individuals attain and sustain contentment can fluctuate significantly. However, there is a consensus that basic physiological and safety needs tend to be more universally fulfilled, while higher-level needs are contingent on individual and environmental elements. Overcoming these obstacles often requires a combination of personal determination, support from others, access to resources, and sometimes professional assistance, such as therapy or counseling. Additionally, societal efforts to address systemic issues, such as poverty, discrimination, and mental health support, can contribute to more individuals being able to work toward self-esteem and self-actualization needs. The majority of individuals do not typically attain self-actualization, nor do they fully unlock their potential as outlined in Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Self-actualization, which entails reaching one's complete potential, personal development, and the active pursuit of one's interests and abilities, is frequently viewed as a lifelong endeavor, and only a small fraction of people manage to reach it in its most unadulterated state.

Hi, Rebacca!

You express no surprise at the results of the personality test, with a special note about extraversion in the test results. This change in personality over the course of a year is very interesting and may be due to various factors in life. This self-awareness and reflection shows an in-depth understanding of oneself.

In your discussion of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs theory, you emphasized the dynamic nature of satisfying needs and individual differences. You mention that while basic needs such as physiology and safety are often easily met, the fulfillment of higher-level needs can be affected by many factors, including social and environmental factors. You make it clear that overcoming these barriers requires individual effort, support from others, and systematic improvement.

Overall, your reflection on personalities and your understanding of Maslow's theory are both very insightful. Thank you for your article, I enjoyed it!

Rebecca,

Thank you for sharing your insight with us! I found your explanations very readable, clear, and easy to understand. This is greatly appreciated by me, because it allows me to build an easy connection with opinion, to the text I have read and studied. I could not have put into words better myself your commentary on the hierarchy better. We as people are ever-changing, and fluctuating as we experience and understand more of life. That is why we should not expect to remain completely stationary with such assessments. Overall, I thought your commentary was brilliant, and very well said. I agree with you wholeheartedly. Thank you again for sharing! Looking forward to hearing more soon.
